LEGISLATIVE EFFORTS

Protect American and Michigan Energy Jobs

We support legislation that keeps domestic drilling, mining, refining, transmission, and generation projects alive instead of shutting them down with endless permitting delays and activist lawsuits.

America should never be forced to buy fuel, uranium, critical minerals, or power infrastructure from nations that hate us. Energy policy is national defense policy.

Baseload Protection / Anti-Blackout Safeguards

We advocate for policies that prevent the forced shutdown of coal, gas, and nuclear plants before replacement capacity is proven, tested, and online.

Hospitals, police, fire, water systems, food supply chains, seniors on oxygen — they all depend on 24/7 baseload. Rolling blackouts are not “part of the transition.” They are policy failure.

Weaponized Permitting & Land Seizure

We oppose regulatory tactics that bury American and Michigan energy projects in years of delay while using the same red tape to pressure landowners, farmers, and rural communities.

We support honest siting, strong safety and environmental standards, and fair compensation — not bullying, not surprise takings, and not “you’ll get your answers later.”

How to Talk to Lawmakers

  • Be respectful, but be direct. They work for you.
  • Lead with jobs and reliability. Everyone understands power bills and blackouts.
  • Bring it local: “Here’s how this affects my county.”
  • Ask for a clear yes/no: “Will you support American and Michigan energy jobs?”

Three Things to Tell Your Rep

Three Things to Tell Your Rep

  • America should never beg foreign countries for fuel.
  • We need baseload power so our seniors don’t freeze in winter.
  • Energy jobs are real careers, not politics — protect them.
